SR. NO. 162. (CASE NO.02-RD/2012) RECRUITMENT TO 119 (ONE HUNDRED & NINETEEN) POSTS OF SENIOR HEADMISTRESS / DEPUTY DISTRICT EDUCATION OFFICER INCLUDING 02 (TWO) POST RESERVED FOR DISABLED & 06 (SIX) POSTS RESERVED FOR MINORITIES ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF 05 YEARS.
GENDER: Only Female candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab.
AGE: 35 to 45 + 8 years general relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD Notification No.SOR-I(S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012 = 53 years on 29-10-2012.
QUALIFICATION, PAY, DOMICILE, PLACE OF POSTING AND SYLLABUS FOR THE POSTS OF SENIOR HEADMASTER, SENIOR HEADMISTRESS / DEPUTY DISTRICT EDUCATION OFFICER.
QUALIFICATION:
i) Master's Degree (not below 2nd Div) in Arts or Science from a recognized Univ. or equivalent qualification; and
ii) M.Ed. (at least 2nd Div from a recognized Univ. and equivalent qualification and
iii) at least seven years teaching cum-administrative experience in an Institution recognized by Education Department before or after acquiring the prescribed qualifications.
PAY: BS-18
DOMICILE: PUNJAB.
PLACE OF POSTING: Any Where in Punjab.
SYLLABUS: Candidates will be required to undergo Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQ ) written test, syllabus of which is as under:-

QUALIFICATION:
M.A./M.Sc. (2nd Div.) with B.Ed. (2nd Div.) provided that the candidates who are M.A. English (3rd Div.), may be provisionally appointed on specific condition that they shall acquire requisite qualifications within 3 years after their appointment or will qualify the Special Diploma Course in English arranged by Allama Iqbal Open Univ. Islamabad in any of the two consecutive sessions of the Course starting immediately next to the date of their appointment. On their failure to acquire the requisite qualifications within the aforesaid period their services shall stand terminated automatically. OR
M.A./M.Ed. (2nd Div.) from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications.

QUALIFICATION, PAY, DOMICILE, PLACE OF POSTING AND SYLLABUS FOR THE POSTS OF SUBJECT SPECIALISTS (MALE & FEMALE):
QUALIFICATION:
M.A./M.Sc. (2nd Div.) with B.Ed. (ii) Above mentioned qualifications in the relevant subjects shall be essential.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
i) Candidates applying on disabled/minorities quota will be eligible for open merit seats also. However, selection of such candidates against the disabled/minorities quota shall be made on the basis of inter-se-merit, irrespective of their subjects.
ii) Candidates applying for more than one subject must submit application in each subject separately.

SYLLABUS: Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQ ) type paper of 100 Marks 2 hours duration relating to the subject will be conducted.
